Birth

We have a new member in the family. A baby girl born this morning, named after the mothers of the happy and proud parents. I assume it was out of pressure, although not expressed, that my brother and his wife named it after those women. It’s a combination of both names, with my mom’s being the first syllable, of course. I am certain that she would not settle for a different combination, no matter how awkward or ugly it may sound. All that matters, I bet, is that her name comes first.
